The Tinder-inspired Networking app for Entrepreneurial Women!

For those who are extroverts, networking events may seem like a walk in the park. But what about those who are a little more introverted, or maybe don’t have the opportunity to attend networking meet-ups?

Much like the conferences run by ‘The League of Extraordinary Women (LOEW)’, this hot new app – inspired by dating platforms such as Bumble and Happn – aims to connect like-minded business women around the globe.

Speaking recently about the app, LOEW Co-Founder Sheryl Thai (who is also the Founder of Cupcake Central) explained how she had been inspired to create a tech platform that allowed entrepreneurs from all different backgrounds (including countries that suffer from gender oppression or lack support for business women) to create genuine connections.

How will it work?

By creating a profile and answering a series of quizzes, entrepreneurial women can discover like-minded people near their location to connect with. Much like Tinder, women can ‘swipe right’ on profiles, and chat with new connections.

The app will also allow women to sign in using their LinkedIn, as opposed to Facebook, and eventually Thai hopes to add a feature where women can organise meet ups through the app.

Currently, Thai and LOEW’s brand manager Maeva Haim are in the process of finding out if there is a need for the app within the U.S, and are meeting with investors to raise $1 million in seed funding; with hopes of getting a test version up and running.
